The chemical and chemical-pharmaceutical industry represents a driving force from an economic and research / development point of view, not only dedicated to treatments for human use, but also to products for veterinary use, for cosmetics, for food, for textile, leather goods, construction and petrochemical manufacturing. The transformation of matters for quality continuous improvement requires a wide use of technology.  It is not uncommon for these sites to be classified according to the Seveso Directive, due to the hazardous chemicals they process.
In this context, the correct identification of risks allows a fire prevention strategy aimed at averting major accidents and the implementation of an adequate series of operational and precautionary measures, taking into account the specific production needs respectfully of criteria, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
